Latest Scores:

  • Definition: The "Latest Scores" feature displays your most recent task scores on TOEFL Speaking tasks.
  • Purpose: This allows you to assess your current performance level based on your latest responses.
  • How to Use: By selecting "Latest Scores," you can see how well you performed on your most recent tasks, helping you to identify immediate areas for improvement.

All Scores:

  • Definition: The "All Scores" feature shows all your historical task scores on TOEFL Speaking tasks.
  • Purpose: This enables you to track your progress over time and see how much you've improved since you started practicing.
  • How to Use: By toggling to "All Scores," you can review your performance trends and progress, which can be motivating and help you understand long-term improvement areas.

Toggling Between "Latest Scores" and "All Scores":

  • Functionality: You can toggle between "Latest Scores" and "All Scores" on your Progress page to compare your latest efforts against your historical SpeechRater data.
  • Impact on Data Display: Task scores (e.g. Q1, etc), Dimension scores (e.g., Delivery, Language Use, Topic Development) and Performance (e.g., Global SpeechRater Rank, Average Response Speed) data will update to reflect the data filter you choose. This means when you switch to "Latest Scores," all related metrics will display the latest data. Conversely, switching to "All Scores" will display cumulative data across all attempts.

By effectively utilizing these features, you can gain detailed insights into both your immediate performance and long-term improvements, allowing you to strategically focus your preparation efforts.
