Teachers: Uploading files - A guide for teachers to upload audio

My Speaking Score supports file uploads for Pro Teacher accounts.

Limitations

• 4 files at a time
• wav only
• 5MB or less

Note: If you want us to score a file for you, please contact support@myspeakingscore.com.

You need to convert your file to wav, then compress the wav file so it's under 5MB. Here's the 3-step process:

1. Convert to wav

• Go to Convertio
• Select the file you want

• Select wav as the destination format

• Click Convert

• Download the wav file

2. Compress wav

• Go to XConvert
• Select the wav you just converted

• Select 8K bitrate

• Select 8000 HZ

• Click Compress

• Download your compressed wav

3. Get your SpeechRater score

• Go to My Speaking Score
• Click Upload

• Select the correct response length

• Add to cart (Note: your file is re-named)

• Click Get SpeechRater™ score
